PEOPLE WHO WATCH THINGS HAPPEN

This series of images has been developed over two years, in different places, sometimes intentionally, and sometimes by the random flowing of situations. This research explores the places and contemporary portraits. Youth caught in intimate places, but also into hotel rooms, subterranean car parks, suburban bowlings. Images are influenced by film scenes: the spaces are filled with meaning, and places are no real places of people who reside there, live there and attend them. The subjects always seem to pose or motionless, firm looking at something that happens or not. The people are portrayed in statuary mood like as posters, represented in the reality/unreality of our time, increasingly contaminated and influenced by television, cinema, internet. As if they were constantly waiting for something to happen.
Or maybe it's just time that passes on.
